Chappell questions Ganguly's attitude from Cricinfo
If this ends the era for Ganguly(which has to end sooner than later) then it will be a sad ending for a person who has added a lot of glorious chapters to Indian cricket.

Change is good ! Hope he gives up and we see someone else. Ganguly has been there for too long!
Agreed... change is good, but there is a way for change to come and there is time. In this case the time is too late and change is done not the right way.
The six observations are believed to be on the following lines: 1. Ganguly is so interested in keeping his captaincy that he has always been creating differences among team members. 2. He has no physical or mental fitness to continue as captain. 3. His leadership commands almost no faith or respect from team members. 4. Ganguly complains mostly of imaginary injuries. 5. Ganguly's attitude is not in the least ideal for India to strive for the 2007 World Cup or a better cricketing future. 6. He does not follow the fitness regime prescribed to him.
I don't know how many of these are really the things said by Chappell.
I would think if would have just said that ganguly to step down untill he regains his form would be taken well. These are really strong statment on Gabguly as a person. A man resposible of making such a strong team is capable of disintegrating it too.
I have been a Ganguly fan.
